Test Analyst

Tangent International are seeking a Test Analyst to work a 6 month extendable contract based in London.

Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for creating and executing detailed Test plans, organising and conducting Testing and Training activities, to ensure successful delivery and deployment of high quality technology solutions with high rates of user adoption.Translating Functional & Technical specifications into effective test cases and plans.Effective reporting of test progress.Work with 3rd party development resources to discuss enhancement requirements & defect issuesSetup and maintenance of testing environments including user roles and permissionsManage User Acceptance Test to successful implementationInvolved with continually monitoring and analysing support tickets, post-stabilisation application trends and changing business processes to refine more effective test casesInvolved in documenting business processes, use cases, requirements and business performance improvements.Creation of User Acceptance Documentation and Training MaterialsManage & support implementation of systemsEnd user support for a variety of disparate systems

Technical Knowledge / Skills in the following areas:

Established background in Functional, System and User Acceptance Testing using manual testing methodsStrong understanding of Defect Management processesGood SQL skillsStrong data investigation skillsAbility to manage test plans and document test cases within a test management tool such as QC/ALMDefinition of current and future states and identification of gaps and formulation of specific test cases.Decomposition, documentation and communication of information at various levels of detail using best practice business analysis techniques and artefacts (e.g. flow charts, wireframes, screen mock-ups, etc.) for both technical and non-technical stakeholdersMeasurement, evaluation and prioritisation of testing scope according to business strategic plansDevelopment of accurate and detailed application test cases
