Job Description

My client is a world leading Consumer Electronics company; they are urgently looking for a Senior Product Manager on a permanent basis.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the following including but not limited to

Proactively lifecycle:

  • Manage the product portfolio and Analyse the market, competitors, consumers and sales performance § In charge of product sell-in and ranging across named accounts and channels
  • Shaping the success and the future of the products in the responsible accounts
  • Support on press events and interviews being the ambassador for launches

Product Strategy ·

  • Work with the Channel, Sales and brand teams to ensure that consumer targets and activity are aligned
  • Ensure that segmentation is effective for in the UK
  • Liaise with Market analysts to build a clear Product strategy for the UK market

Proposition/Promotion ·

  • Work with the Finance, Marketing and Commercial teams to develop an overall Value proposition
  • Develop & implement strong product propositions combining software and non-software
  • Strong understanding of the competitor landscape


  • Develop and manage a forecast that will assist in setting across the business
  • Accountability for forecast

Product Launch

  • Contribute to the development of the launch plan for new product
  • Manage the critical path that guides concept to launch process for product management
  • Guide all teams to align Product Strategy with Brand Strategy

The ideal candidate will have

  • BA or above in any relevant discipline
  • A background in Product Management in a related area with experience in proposition development & execution
  • Product Lifecycle management experience together with a technical aptitude and experience of managing P&L
  • Strong verbal written and presentation skills and commercial acumen and numeracy
  • Experience of Portfolio Management, Product Strategy, Proposition/Promotions, Product forecasting and launch
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Confident working with ambiguity
  • Passionate about solving problems for the team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English AND Chinese
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required (up to 30%)
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
