Senior DevOps Engineer

Kimberly Hume is looking to hire a Senior DevOps Engineer to work a 11 month rolling contract based in Dublin (Hybrid).

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with a cross-functional product team of Software Engineers, QA, DBAs and the Engineering Manager to ensure smooth deployments of software updates
• Proactively work with the product team to implement and/or improve the process of building and deploying solutions across all test and production environments
• Work closely with the CICD team to optimize existing pipelines, establish and enforce best practices

Requirements: 

• 6-8+ years experience in a DevOps Build/Release Engineer role
• Experience with Android and iOS build and publish is essential
• Experience building and deploying mobile applications using tools like Fastlane, TestFlight, Fabric, Google Beta,  iOS keychain and certificate, etc.

• Experience in deploying .NET Framework and .NET Core applications and components
• Experience working in an agile/scrum development environment

• Ability to anticipate problems and take decisive action, giving regard to the impact on other project teams, development partners and stakeholders
• Excellent communications skills to clearly articulate complex concepts to all levels of the organization (both technical and non-technical)
• Ability to approach problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, and innovation
• Proficient scripting and automation skills, particularly using Ruby script; Powershell an advantage

• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent education

Even better if you have:

• Hands-on experience in deploying distributed systems in AWS
• Experience in administering and leveraging any of the following build technologies: TeamCity, Bamboo, Jenkins/Hudson, Cruise Control, MSDeploy, Nant, MS Lab Manager
• Experience in administering and using Octopus Deploy or any other similar application delivery pipeline
• Solid experience working with SVN and GIT
• Experience in automating database deployments and database versioning or source control tools
• C#/.NET experience
• Experience in administering and using ELK in AWS
• Experience using SonarQube
