Job Description

Kimberly is urgently looking for a Security Architect to work on a 12-month rolling contract based in London, UK.

 

Role overview:

- The Security architect is part of the Professional Services Resource Management team within the Technology Solutions organisation.
- The role necessitates excellent communication and organizational leadership abilities.
- Key responsibilities include reviewing current system security measures and recommending and implementing enhancements; conducting regular system tests and ensuring continuous monitoring of network security; assisting the development of project timelines for ongoing system upgrades; working with sales teams to engage with customers early on security principles and requirements.
- You will be working across our Technology Solutions department, helping to deliver our customer solutions as well as internal needs, and working closely with our Platform, Solutions and Technology Architecture teams is an important element of this role.
- We work closely with our Information Security function to ensure that audits, security assessments and controls are in place. In addition you will provide advice and guidance where custom and off-product solutions are needed.
 

Role requirements:

- Experience in navigating a technology delivery organization
- Able to prioritize multiple responsibilities, balancing customer priorities on multiple projects as well as internal product development requirements
- Detailed understanding of information security practices, processes and ways of working in a technology delivery environment
- Familiarity with broadcast and media services and / or software development, and an understanding of the portfolio of services
- You should have expertise in security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection, and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), network access controls, and network segmentation.  - You must be experienced with operating systems like Windows, Linux, and UNIX.
- Network security architecture and its development are both important to understand. Wireless security, such as routers, switches, and VLAN security, are also areas to be aware of.
- DNS security principles such as routing, authentication, VPN, proxy services, and DDOS mitigation technology are expected to be a part of your experience.
- An understanding of the ISO 27001/27002, COBIT, and ITIL frameworks is required.
- Third-party auditing skills and cloud risk assessment methodologies are also areas in which you must be familiar.

 

Please note: This position will be inside IR35.
