RAN Programme Manager Required Urgently in Reading

Tangent International are urgently looking for a RAN Programme Manager to work a 12 month rolling contract based in United Kingdom (Reading)

Responsibilities
- Defining, agreeing and managing Systems Introduction Project Plans with all stakeholders, including clients deliverables and all dependencies on H3G and Third Parties
- Defining, agreeing and managing project plans for:
(i) The definition of High Level Designs and Test Plans and approvals by all stakeholders
(ii) Low Level Designs for client, H3G and 3rd Party Network Elements/ Element Managers
(iii) Lab testing – setting up test beds and completing testing
(iv) Field trials/ pilots
- Driving impact assessments of RAN design changes on deployment and operational processes, systems, reporting and team structures. Following the completion of impact assessments, ensure that implementation plans to support field trials and mass rollout are defined covering:
(i) RAN Planning and Deployment
(ii) AT Planning and Deployment
(iii) Operations
(iv) OSS
- Once deployment and operational plans to support field trials/ mass rollout have been defined proactively track the delivery of these plans, working with the project managers in these areas to manage issues and risks
- Identify areas in which the Systems Introduction Process can be improved, and work with relevant stakeholders to make the necessary changes
- Overall accountability for ensuring that RAN upgrades are successfully delivered into H3G, with responsibility for adhering to Huawei Chariot project management processes

Specialist skills
- Knowledge and deep understanding of UK Radio Access Networks
- Deep understanding of the RAN design, lab test and field trial/ pilot processes
- Prime Integrator Role – managing customer and 3rd parties deliverables
- Understanding of RAN deployment and operations processes
- Understanding of Access Transport
