Product Manager (Security and Fraud Solutions)

Job Description

The Security and Fraud Solutions Product Manager is responsible for leading the productization of security and fraud solutions that help carriers protect their subscribers from phone fraud by identifying and blocking potential spoofers, scammers, and nuisance callers.

The product manager is primarily focused on consolidating input across all sources (market, customers, sales, and partners) for new solutions and major functionality enhancements on existing solutions to address customer segment needs. 

The product manager will work closely with the product team, in planning and defining specific product features to ensure the delivery of reliable solutions to requirements and developing acceptance criteria to validate that the resulting product meets those needs. 

Job Expectations

  • Manage end-to-end productization activities including cross functional and third-party dependencies
  • Work closely with sales and technical teams to develop and launch new security and fraud solutions
  • Implement a customer value proposition model based on market/customer segmentation
  • Manage high priority projects to completion while leading product launch schedules for the business
  • Maintain the security and fraud solutions roadmap, align organization stakeholders including sales to the roadmap, validate the roadmap with key customers and communicate the roadmap internally and externally
  • Coordinate with product owners in translating requirements into executable product use cases, scenarios and acceptable criteria
  • Work closely with technical team and product owners to develop and launch new products and solutions
  • Develop core positioning and messaging for the product 
  • Provide inputs to support marketing and sales efforts on data sheets and sales presentations for assigned product areas
  • Own and report on key product metrics
  • Provide support at trade shows and conventions as needed
  • Train the sales and support teams where appropriate
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time (product demos, technology research)

Required Experience and Knowledge

  • 3-5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, preferably with security and fraud solutions
  • 3+ years of product management experience
  • Experience and acumen in financial analysis, product and project management
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively represent the company to external audiences
  • Prior experience in working with product owners and engineering teams

Other Requirements

  • Travel: must be able to travel (US and other countries), maintain a current passport, and have a driver’s license
  • English: fluent in written and professional oral communication (internally and with customers)
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree with STEM background desired
