Job Description

As a senior member of the European Pre- Sales team you will be supporting the sales process across our core industries in the European marketplace. Your primary focus will be to use your technical knowledge and your innate sales skills to provide advice, support and functional insight into our clients solution. You will work within the Core Markets Sales Team to support the sales process by responding to RFIs, RFPs, building and delivering functional solution presentations to a diverse range of audiences as well as supporting the sales process by sharing your knowledge.

Due to the continued success and growth of our client, we are now looking to recruit a new talent into our Pre- Sales team in Europe to help develop and deliver a value add and solution centric customer experience. You will be working in an international team environment in close cooperation with partners and subject matter experts.

Experience preferred:

  • Proven experience within the software industry - preferably within Master Data Management and/or Product Information Management
  • Enterprise and C-Level engagement experience
  • Experience of a range of data domains such as Customer, Product, Supplier, Location and Employee
  • Experience working with well-known IT System Integrators
  • Track record in configuring and presenting a complex software solution

Exposure or experience in any of the following areas:

  • Big Data
  • Internet Of Things
  • Business Intelligence and Analytics
  • Business Process Management
  • Java Script, SQL, XML, JASON, XSLT, HTML
  • Multiple Data Domains
  • Data Quality
  • Data Integration
  • Enterprise Service Bus

Your primary objectives are as follows:

  • First and foremost – being an MDM evangelist
  • Win new business via value add/solution centric selling and signing of new logo licence contracts
  • Deliver winning proposals / successful RFPs
  • Develop, build and deliver exceptional functional presentations and promoting the MDM offering in presenting at conferences and webinars
  • Support our clients business partners
  • Position our clients solution as a Multi-domain MDM solution
  • Continually innovate and find new ways to articulate functional capability and value proposition

Key activities

  • Maintain a high level of expertise in the system
  • Manage a demonstration environment and deliver functional presentations
  • Support prospect engagements and articulate our clients value proposition and domain experience by understanding needs and expectations
  • Competitive positioning and differentiation
  • Participation in key events / conferences
  • Support innovation and new ideas

Core professional skills and personal competencies required:

  • The ideal candidate will have several years of experience of managing enterprise level software solution, configuring and delivering functional presentations
  • Experience using a “solution-oriented” approach that uses consultative sales techniques
  • Analytical skill set, strong presentation skills, and ability to interact at any level within an organisation
  • Ability to self-teach and analyse
  • Communication skills, both verbal and written, ability to attract attention and make people listen
  • Ability to travel and support engagements across Europe with a diverse range of prospects
  • Knowledge of programming or coding disciplines
  • Multi-lingual is an advantage, strong English language skills is a must
