Tangent International are urgently looking for a PR Manager UK - Lifestyle and Events to work a 6 month extendable contract based in North GreenwichRole: overviewAs the UK PR Manager, you will play a key role in building and raising the profile of the clients brand across the UK, supporting the Head of PR to drive growth of the brand and leading on implementation of cutting edge integrated PR campaigns and events across the UK. This will primarily be focused on Lifestyle, travel and culture media, increasing awareness, and ultimately desire, for the client products outside of the tech media.  Activations will also be focused on events and special projects outside of product launches and always on news content. Key Responsibilities for the PR Manager:-    Creating and delivering PR events, stunts and campaigns that make a tangible difference to the client future success, as they look to cement their position as the number 3 brand in the UK-    Creating and executing the relevant strategy alongside the Head of PR to successfully build the the client brand to number two/one position-    Work alongside the relevant marketing, brand and advertising teams to build a strategy that successfully develops the reputation and awareness of the client within the lifestyle/travel and culture media, helping to grow overall share of voice-    Execute the relevant PR plan campaigns from start to finish, including responsibility for planning, budgeting and implementation -    Manage and lead the UK PR agency to implement PR event plans and campaigns-    Build and maintain relationships with key lifestyle, travel and culture media contacts to promote the organisation-    Make use of the necessary analytics to better understand the target audience to further increase publicity-    Make use of experiential platforms and PR driven stunts to drive increased engagement-    Alongside the Head of PR, effectively manage the PR and Events budget and deputise for the Head of PR when necessary-    Develop and Manage key industry partnerships and collaborations -    Maintain strong relationships with senior level stakeholders and advise C-suiteEssential Skills and Competencies of the Head of PR: -    Ability to lead on and implement an integrated PR strategy for the company-    Minimum 8+ years' experience in similar roles and a good understanding of the tech/mobile sector-    Strong ability to identify, create and sell a story-    Media Savvy and able to build relationships with key industry figures-    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills-    Strong sense of teamwork, self-motivation -    Logical mind, with an eye for detail-    A strategic thinker, who can translate insights and strategy into concepts combined with a strong understanding of sponsorship strategy and event delivery-    Strong commercial acumen/business sense and ability to forecast shifts in the marketplace-    People management skills - mentoring, coaching, performance management , able to spot and develop talent-    The ability to communicate and work with a variety of different stakeholders-    Previous experience of working in similar PR roles within an agency or in-house-    Ability and willingness to travel internationally when requiredIf interested please send me your updated CV.
