The role of Country Marketing Director  is to lead the marketing function within the country and to hold the primary accountability for the marketing result.

PLANNING & PERFROMANCE MANAGEMENT

 

  • Development of annual, half yearly and quarterly planning
  • KPI setting and performance reportin
  • Daily review and management of marketing performance and immediate implementation of corrective measures to ensure maximum ROI. (Utilisation of Fortnightly Regional Dashboards as the single source of the truth. No country should develop or engage additional suppliers for Reporting & Performance Management).
  • Full campaign wrap up reports to be completed for every campaign and review of performance and ROI versus target.
  • Reports must be submitted to region for upload to Case Sharing database and central knowledge library.
  • Monthly communication of results with Country Director, Go to Market & Key Account Leads
  • Quarterly reporting to Regional CMO

 

CAMPAIGNS & COMMUNICATIONS

 

•End to end marketing go to market execution across all consumer touch points.

o Localisation of HQ & Regional campaigns

Setting & monitoring of Campaign KPI's and ROI

Development of execution plans that reflect the Regional/HQ Campaign Strategy & Guidelines (Timing, Campaign Platform, Messaging House, Creative Suite, Phasing)

Media planning, buying, execution and optimization (Must be in line with Regional Media Strategy Guidelines and must apply Price Book Utilisation Guidelines)

Creative content localization & format adaptation. (Localization will be managed by exception)

Digital campaign execution (Must be 100% compliant with Regional "Tagging", "Ad Serving" and "Brand protection guidelines")

Integration within retail and Joint Marketing activities

Web site management and optimisation

Integration of local partnerships and events

PR activities execution

•Creation of local campaigns (Up to $30k USD or with a regional approval for greater amounts)

•Execution of the Public relations plan and ongoing media relationship management

•Review and approval of ALL consumer facing communications across all touch points (ATL, BTL, Retail, Owned Digital, Joint Marketing, Events, Partnerships & PR)

           

 

PUBLIC RELATIONS

•   Development and management of a Media Relationship Management Program, that must include media mapping and profiling

•   Localize HQ/Regional PR communications and activities

•   Develop & execute local PR events, briefings and engagement activities (Up to $30k USD or with Regional approval for greater amounts)

•   Ongoing reporting and optimization of activities and Media CRM to ensure KPI achievement

 

OPERATIONS

•Management and execution according to the marketing operations framework ensuring full compliance with internal Controls, Finance & Procurement Regulations

 Required:

• minimum 15 years marketing experience with minimum five years executive marketing leadership experience

• must have generalist experience across the broader marketing mix

• must have experience leading international multicultural teams

•   experience in strategy development, analytics and CRM will be highly regarded but is not essential

•   Must have experience in Digital marketing and capability development across Web, CRM & eCommerce

•   mobile devices experience is not mandatory
