Job Description
Looking for an Automation Specialist and Control Specialist to be based in Cape Town, South Africa.
The candidate must meet the BBBEE South African Law.Will be responsible in for the following aspects:
- Consultation with Project Managers (Execution & Pre Contracting) about the best technical solution with regards to automation and control
- Development of Functional Design Specifications
- Design of control cabinets in E-Plan
- Compilation of Bill of Materials for communication to Procurement
- Overseeing of MCC construction until FAT.
- MCC testing during FATStart-up and commissioning of MCC on site
- Commissioning of machines from Foreign Business UnitsUp to 30% of international travel.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years in Automation Field with strong technical expertise in packaging lines
- Strong knowledge of Electrical and Control Systems
- Strong knowledge in Siemens and Allen Bradley HMI's and PLC's
