Tangent International are looking to speak with engineers to work an Assure Support role for a 6-month project in Luxembourg.
- The Assure Support Service is specifically designed to give short-term support when introducing new nodes into the network by providing on-site support experts.
- The client will include in the services 1 on-site engineer that will support O&M staff in the first 6 months of the start-up of the following nodes.
- vUDC (vHSS, vHLR, vCUDB, vUPG, vEDA)
The client's on-site support experts will, directly work from the customer’s premises, deliver the following and provide frequently progress and status reports:
- Fault Handling
- Maintenance Routine Execution
- Software Loading
- Final Report
- On the Job Training
The on-site support expert will collate the maintenance manuals for all the new nodes and assemble them into a customer-specific maintenance routine guide. This maintenance routine guide shall cover local routines such as alarm monitoring, memory checking, database handling, back-up handling, node health-checking and traffic load monitoring.
The on-site support expert implements the necessary software updates, node-by-node, to make sure each one is at the same software level and that the new nodes are fully interworking in the customer’s network. These new software update packages are deployed safely and precisely by the on-site support expert to ensure the network continues to operate at peak performance after the introduction of new nodes.
The on-site support expert will also load all updates and emergency packages to guarantee that the most up-to-date software is deployed for the new nodes.
The customer is expecting that through the Assure Support will have the chance to receive On the Job Training regarding vUDC O&M, as well as familiarize with the functionality/capabilities of the vUDC nodes.
